Let's feed the dog!

I hope everyone had a wonderful three day weekend! We had a busy day today-we continued publishing our stories by thinking of titles for our stories, we worked on telling a story across pages during independent reading and looking for groups of 2, 3, 4, and 5. The children had lots of fun during language through play today!
At the block center--
I.F distributes the beads to S.C and G.L
G.L builds a house
Then, he created a bridge. Here, he adds trees to one end of the bridge.

At the dramatic play center--
K.W uses the microwave. She made beeping sounds as she pressed the buttons.
D.G heats up his cake. He made sure to wear a mitt to keep his hand safe from the heat.
A.Z said, "Let's feed the dog!" He prepares the food for the dog.
At the science center--
I've noticed that at the science center, the children have been gravitating towards the bugs. I'm keeping note of what's been interesting to the students so hopefully in a month or so, we can begin project-based work in the classroom!
J.W explores the bugs
M.W takes a clipboard to draw the ladybug
Y.J drew these bugs on his clipboard
At the math center--
J.S and L.L explore the clocks
We opened the computer center today!
H.L and C.C at the computers
I.Z and J.Z at the computers
I noticed that I.Z and J.Z were dancing and singing along with the bears on the computer! I had to take a video--

Reminder--Thursday is our trip to the Queens County Farm! Make sure to dress your child appropriately for the weather :)
